Pre-treatment
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and well-bonded. Glossy, painted surfaces should be cleaned with Gjøco Husvask or Gjøco Interiørvask and sanded matte. Irregularities are removed by sanding.
Application
The substrate and air temperature must be above +5°C during application. Plasterboard with recessed joints should be filled with Gjøco Proff Lättspackel Fin. The perforated paper tape is then pressed into the wet filler and firmly bedded using a wide putty knife. Excess filler is removed. Apply a layer of filler over the tape immediately after installing it; this ensures the tape dries evenly on both sides. Let dry. The joint should be filled 2 more times with Gjøco Proff Lättspackel Medium, distributed with a wide putty knife. Ensure the filler is completely dry between each application. Filled surfaces should be primed before wallpapering.
Storage
When storing leftover filler, replace the lid tightly to prevent waste and drying out. The filler must be transported, stored, and kept upright, in a dry, frost-free location.
Waste management
Filler and wash water must not be disposed of in drains or in nature, but delivered to an environmental collection point. Empty, clean, and dry plastic packaging without handles can be disposed of as plastic waste.
Other information
Store in a dry, frost-free place, protected from sunlight. Unopened packaging can be stored for 12 months.
May remain usable after 12 months; check consistency and odor.
