Gjøco Furniture and Kitchen Worktop Oil is a special oil for indoor use on wooden surfaces such as kitchen countertops, work surfaces, and wooden furniture in kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
Gjøco Furniture and Kitchen Worktop Oil provides good protection against moisture, dirt, and grease. Can be tinted into various colors. Contains no toxic substances and is therefore suitable for treating surfaces that are in direct contact with food.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Pre-treatment
The surface must be clean and dry. Remove grease, wax, and soap residues with Gjøco Interior Cleaner. This must also be done on new, untreated wood. Lightly sand the surface with 150–180 grit sandpaper. Vacuum and then wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth. Previously oiled surfaces with deep scratches and damage must be sanded down to bare wood.
Application
It is recommended that the color and finish be tested with a test application to ensure the result is as desired. The wood's absorbency affects the result, as do the color and number of coats. The more coats, the stronger the color layer. Apply Gjøco Furniture and Kitchen Worktop Oil with a brush or sponge in the direction of the grain. The type of application tool used can result in different finishes; perform a test application. Allow to dry for approx. 2 hours. Then apply a new coat and let it dry for one day before the item is put into use. Polish the surface if necessary with a cloth.
OTHER INFORMATION
Mix different batch numbers to avoid gloss differences. Stir before and during use. Do not expose the surface to heavy loads (water puddles, impacts, etc.) during the first week after treatment.
Wipe up spilled water and similar substances immediately. Contact with acidic and fatty products is limited to two hours.
