Stålplast Quick-Filler is a 1-component acrylic filler with a short drying time.
Area of use:
The quick-filler is primarily intended for fine filling in connection with paintwork, but is also suitable for filling minor scratches and other small damages that occur in building painting, kitchen cabinets, furnishings, etc. The filler is fast-drying, smooth, dense, and easy to sand.
Instructions for use:
Pre-treatment:
The surface to be filled must be well cleaned.
Bare metal must be primed with an anti-corrosion primer, such as Stålplast Primer CA or Anti-Corrosion Primer 1K. Previously painted surfaces or wood do not need to be primed.
For larger adjustments/fills, one of Hagmans' polyester fillers is recommended: Stålplast Fine, Micro, or Flexible.
Application:
Apply Stålplast Quick-Filler in thin layers using a putty knife or equivalent.
Allow to dry for 10-15 minutes before sanding. Use P-320 grit sandpaper or finer when sanding to avoid sanding scratches in subsequent paint layers.

The filler is excellent for fine filling on painted surfaces, wood, metal, and light metal. It is often used in car painting, boat maintenance, kitchen cabinets, and building painting to fill sanding scratches, pores, and minor damage.
How long does the filler last?
The storage time is 2 years from the date of manufacture in an unopened container. Applied filler lasts as long as the surrounding paint system if treated correctly.
How fast does the filler dry?
The filler is sandable after just 10–15 minutes at normal temperature (approx. 20°C). Lower temperatures extend the drying time.
How much filler do I need?
For fine filling and skim coating individual scratches and pores, 100 ml is sufficient for a large number of repairs. The filler is applied in thin layers.
What temperature can I apply the filler in?
The application temperature is 5–30°C. Avoid application in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces.
