Product description
SAICOS Furniture Oil can be used for all heavily used wooden surfaces such as kitchen worktops, tables or indoor furniture.
Natural oils penetrate deep into the wood and keep it supple.
The surface impresses with its dirt- and water-repellent and hard-wearing properties.
Coffee, wine, juice or household chemicals cannot penetrate the wood and can be easily wiped away.
The color result depends on several factors: in addition to the wood species and quality, the sanding is also crucial.
We recommend a trial application on original timber to get the most accurate preview of the final result.
Preparation: Any paints and varnishes must be removed (final sanding grit 120-150). Remove dust thoroughly.
Previously oiled or waxed surfaces do not require sanding (clean with Ecoline Magic Cleanser) unless the wood is heavily grayed or worn.
For bathroom furniture, we recommend one coat of SAICOS Ground Oil Extra Thin followed by two coats of SAICOS Furniture Oil.
Application:
1st coat
Shake well. Apply evenly and thinly along the wood grain with a cloth or SAICOS flat brush.
Remove unabsorbed excess material with a cloth.
Drying time: approx. 4-6 hours (depending on temperature and humidity).
Dust-dry after approx. 4 hours.
Oxidative drying - provide open windows during and after application to achieve good air circulation.
2nd coat:
Repeat the 1st coat
Drying time: approx. 4-6 hours (depending on temperature and humidity).
Dust-dry after approx. 4 hours.

Best application temperature:
between 8°C and 35°C
Coverage per liter: 0.3 liters is sufficient for approx. 4 m² (2 coats).
Coverage depends on wood species and surface structure.
Number of coats: untreated wood: 2 coats (no primer required).
renovation: 1 coat is usually sufficient.
Easy maintenance:
Regular cleaning:
With a duster or cloth. Can be wiped with a damp cloth (Ecoline Wash Care).
Refreshing care and cleaning with SAICOS Wax Care.
Renovation: We recommend cleaning with Ecoline Magic Cleanser.
No sanding required. We recommend a light sanding of the surface (grit 150) and a subsequent new coat of SAICOS Furniture Oil on the cleaned surface.
Cleaning of tools:
With SAICOS Brush Cleaner.
Storage:
At least 5 years in a sealed container.
The liquid product is not frost-sensitive.
To restore good spreadability after exposure to frost, store at room temperature for several hours and stir.
