RUST-OLEUM® HARD HAT Anti-Slip Spray 2400 is based on a fast-drying, acrylic-modified short-oil soy alkyd. The colored versions contain lead- and chromate-free pigments and a special anti-slip additive.
Product description
RUST-OLEUM® HARD HAT Anti-Slip Spray 2400 can be used on metal, concrete, ceramic surfaces, wood, or pre-treated existing paint coatings. Steel should be primed with 2169 or 2182. RUST-OLEUM Anti-Slip Spray 2400 is intended for small maintenance tasks or touch-ups. RUST-OLEUM Anti-Slip Spray 2400 can be used indoors or outdoors in light industrial environments where anti-slip properties are required.
Surface preparation:
Remove dirt, grease, oil, loose rust, and all other contaminants from the substrate in an appropriate manner. Lightly abrade intact paint layers by sanding. The surface must be clean and dry during application.
Instructions for use:
Remove the protective cap. Shake vigorously for at least one minute after the mixing balls begin to rattle. Shake regularly during use. Hold the can approximately 25 cm from the surface. Move the can in a back-and-forth motion parallel to the surface. Ensure the can is in motion when the nozzle is pressed to avoid runs.
Apply multiple thin layers with a few minutes between them to achieve the required film thickness.
After use, spray the nozzle clean for 2-3 seconds with the can in an inverted position.
Important note: Not intended for use in wet areas such as bathrooms or on surfaces that regularly come into contact with water.
Application conditions:
For best results, the relative humidity should be below 85% and the temperature of the can above 10° C.
