-The wall must be solid and clean, free from loose wallpaper flakes or filler dust.
-If you have not removed all old layers of wallpaper, which is recommended, it is a good idea to prime the wall with an insulating/blocking paint. This is done to reduce the risk of the old wallpaper bubbling. Suitable paint includes Sigma Isotop Primer or Jotun’s wallpaper primer. Once painted, sand lightly and wipe down with sugar soap.
