-The wall must be solid and clean, with no loose wallpaper flakes or drywall dust.
-If you have not removed all old layers of wallpaper, which is recommended, it is a good idea to prime the wall with an insulating/blocking paint. This is done to reduce the risk of the old wallpaper bubbling when you hang the new wallpaper. Suitable paint includes Sigma Isotop Primer or Jotun’s wallpaper primer. Once painted, sand lightly and wipe down with a paint cleaner.
