-The wall must be solid and clean, with no loose wallpaper flakes or filler dust.
-If you have not removed all old layers of wallpaper, which is recommended, it is a good idea to seal the wall by painting it with an insulating/sealing primer. This is to reduce the risk of the old wallpaper bubbling up under the new wallpaper. Suitable paint includes Sigma Isotop Primer or Jotun's Primer for wallpaper. Once painted, sand lightly and wipe down with sugar soap.
