-The wall must be firm and clean, with no loose wallpaper flakes or filler dust.
-If you have not removed all old layers of wallpaper, which is recommended, it is a good idea to prime the wall with an insulating/blocking paint. This is done to reduce the risk of the old wallpaper bubbling under the new one. Suitable paint is Sigma Isotop Primer or Jotun's primer for wallpaper.
