Gjøco Hydro Pliolite Masonry Paint is a matte, diffusion-open paint for outdoor use on mineral substrates. It has good adhesion to difficult surfaces and can be used at temperatures down to +2 °C. Gjøco Hydro Pliolite Masonry Paint contains film-protecting anti-mold agents and has very good weather resistance. The paint is particularly suitable for masonry, concrete, and plaster, both untreated and previously painted.
Not suitable for use on Supereternit.

Product description
Pre-treatment
The surface must be clean and dry. Clean with Gjøco House Wash to remove grease and contaminants; rinse with clean water. Any old loose paint, lime, loose plaster, and dust must be removed by wire brushing/scraping. It is important that the substrate is firm to ensure good adhesion. Surfaces must be dry before further treatment, and plaster repairs must dry for at least 4 weeks before painting over.
Application method
Apply 1-2 coats of Gjøco Hydro Pliolite Masonry Paint as needed. On highly absorbent surfaces, the first coat can be thinned with up to 5% water or primed with Gjøco Primer for Masonry & Concrete.
When using Gjøco Hydro Pliolite Masonry Paint on fiber cement (Eternit), adhesion must be tested by a test patch. Not suitable for Supereternit due to adhesion problems.
Walls without a moisture barrier, such as cold walls and freestanding masonry, can cause peeling due to high moisture migration. Under unfavorable drying conditions such as high humidity, fog, rain, or low temperatures, shiny and slightly sticky streaks may appear on the paint film. The streaks consist of water-soluble substances and will disappear with rain and wind. The protective properties of the paint will not be compromised.
Other information
Stir the paint thoroughly. Mix different batch numbers before use before the final coat to avoid variations in gloss and color.
The paint must not be exposed to frost.
