Semi-gloss and durable floor paint.
Golv 40 vattenspädbar (Water-dilutable) is a water-borne floor coating based on polyurethane-modified alkyd. The paint has good application properties, good leveling, and is very durable. Used for indoor wooden floors and old concrete floors. Can also be used outdoors on old concrete floors. Do not use on new concrete or surfaces with a risk of moisture.

Product description
Pre-treatment
Wood/hardwood/laminate:
The surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease.
- Previously painted surfaces should be washed with Gjøco Hustvätt and rinsed with water.
- Old glossy and semi-gloss paint should be matted down with sandpaper.
- Untreated, sanded, or worn wooden floors are first treated with Gjøco Spärrgrund (see separate recommendations for this product). Then treat the floor with 2-3 coats of Golv 40 vattenspädbar.
- Old laminate floors do not require a primer.
- New laminate floors may contain substances that make painting difficult. A test patch is recommended.
Concrete:
Golv 40 vattenspädbar is suitable as paint for older untreated concrete floors and previously painted concrete floors. The surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease and oil stains.
- On previously painted surfaces, all loose paint must be removed, then cleaned with Gjøco Hustvätt.
- Old glossy or semi-gloss paint should be matted down with sandpaper. Vacuum and wipe with a lint-free cloth, preferably microfiber. It is important to remove all sanding dust and similar to get good adhesion.
- Old untreated concrete floors should be sanded before painting.
- For newly cast floors, warehouse floors, garages, and other floors subject to high wear, Gjøco Poxydekk is recommended.
Application method
Golv 40 vattenspädbar is ready for use and must not be thinned. Stir well and apply 2-3 coats depending on the substrate. Apply evenly and generously.
Other information
Store in a dry and frost-free place. Stir well before use. Different batch numbers should be mixed to avoid differences in gloss and color.
Wait at least 1 week to wash the floor; the paint needs up to 4 weeks for complete curing.
