Fashion is a waterborne, low-odor oil paint for indoor use. It has good application properties and provides a durable and elegant finish. Used for intermediate and topcoats on paneling, MDF, doors, windows, thresholds, moldings, and furniture.

APPLICATION DATA
Application method: Brush, roller, or spray. Spraying is recommended for professionals only.
Thinning/cleaning agent: Water
Recommended film thickness, wet: 100 – 120 micrometers 40 micrometers
Recommended film thickness, dry: 40 micrometers
Coverage: 8-10 m2/liter
Drying: (23 °C, 50% R.H.):
Dust dry: 1- 2 hours
Recoating interval: minimum: 6 hours.
Fully dry/cured: after 4 weeks depending on humidity, temperature, ventilation, and film thickness.
Minimum application temp: +10°C. Best results are achieved when applied at room temperature.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Pre-treatment: The surface must be clean and dry. Previously oil-painted surfaces should be cleaned with Gjøco House Wash and rinsed with water. MDF, paneling, hard surfaces, and old semi-gloss or glossy painted surfaces should be matted down with sandpaper and dusted off.
All surfaces must be primed with one coat of Gjøco Primer/Sealer. Surfaces previously treated with alkyd paint must always be primed before applying Fashion 05/15/40/80.
New paneling and old discolored/yellowed paneling should be primed with at least 2 coats of Gjøco Primer/Sealer.
Application
Fashion is ready for use and should not be thinned. For interior details and surfaces where a smooth and even surface is desired, the use of a high-quality brush is recommended. Apply evenly and generously. On absorbent and porous surfaces, 3 coats are recommended to avoid spotting.
Storage
When storing leftover paint, close the lid tightly to prevent spilling and drying. The paint should be transported, stored, and kept upright, dry, and frost-free.
Waste management
Liquid paint must not be poured into drains or the environment, but should be taken to an approved collection point for hazardous waste.

Wait at least 24 hours before light use. Full load capacity only after 5-7 days.
Why does it take so long to cure?
Polyurethane alkyds (especially waterborne ones) require a longer curing time than standard wall paints to reach full hardness.
Can I paint several coats the same day?
No, wait until the surface is dry according to the product description before applying the next coat.
What happens if I stress the surface too early?
The surface may be damaged, get marks, or fail to achieve its full hardness and durability.
How do I know when the paint is fully cured?
After 5-7 days, the paint has reached its full hardness and resistance.

IMPORTANT TIP:
Even if the surface feels dry after a few hours, it often takes up to a week for the paint to reach its full hardness. Therefore, do not subject the surface to heavy use in the first few days!
