Description
Gjöco Algtvätt effectively removes unwanted growth of fungi, green algae, algae, or lichens. Can also be used for surface disinfection. Used for cleaning all types of outdoor and indoor surfaces such as roofs, facades, ground surfaces, fences, terraces, stairs, walls, awnings, and partitions.
Can be used on both painted and untreated materials such as stone, concrete, plaster, wood, fiber cement, sheet metal, roofing felt, plastic, textiles, etc. Effectively removes algae and dirt and provides a preventative effect.
Do not apply when there is a risk of rain, night frost, or in direct sunlight. Dead material is removed naturally by rain or wind. If necessary, surfaces can be rinsed or brushed clean.

Product description
Pre-treatment
Remove dirt, leaves, loose fungi, green algae, and similar with a stiff broom or other suitable tool. Dry, absorbent surfaces can be moistened with water about one hour before treatment to reduce consumption.
Dilution:
Thinner / cleaning agent: Water
Mixing ratio:
1:4 with water, difficult surfaces 1:2. Disinfection: 1:20 with water
Coverage: Approx. 5 m²/liter, depending on the level of dirt
Minimum application temperature: >10°C. Best effect at >+15 – 20°C
Application
Dilute Gjöco Algtvätt with water.
Apply using a low-pressure sprayer with a wide flat fan spray so that the surface becomes wet. Can also be applied with a brush. Leave to act without rinsing off. Residues are washed away by rain without requiring further work.
Algae are normally gone within a year. On roofs, the product should be applied in 2 rounds with 2–3 weeks between treatments. On facades and other vertical painted surfaces, it may be required to wash the surface with Gjöco Hustvätt for the residues to disappear completely.
Let Gjöco Algtvätt work for at least 24 hours if the surfaces are to be washed off later. Avoid treatment in strong sunlight and on frost-covered surfaces.
NOTE! Do not use a high-pressure washer on roofs. When treating delicate surfaces such as textiles, the product must not dry in and should be rinsed off. Always do a test first to see if the material can withstand the treatment. For unpaved soil surfaces next to the treated area, use an impermeable cover (or drop cloth) to prevent contamination.
The product can only be used if the weather forecast shows no rain and no wind on the day of application or at least during the first 6 hours after application.
The treatment can be repeated again after 1 year.

Storage
The containers must be kept tightly closed to prevent spills and drying out. The product must be transported and stored upright, dry, and frost-free.
Waste management
The product must not be emptied into the drain or the environment but delivered to a hazardous waste collection point. Empty, clean, and dry plastic packaging can be delivered as plastic waste.
