Bostik A980 INSTANTLY PAINTABLE is a high-quality acrylic sealant specially formulated to be paintable immediately after application. Used for sealing and filling joints, seams, holes, and cracks. Bostik A980 INSTANTLY PAINTABLE has unique properties that reduce the risk of shrinkage cracks when painting over narrow joints.

AREA OF APPLICATION
Used for sealing and filling joints, seams, holes, and cracks indoors in stairs, walls, ceilings, skirting boards, windowsills, wooden and metal window frames, masonry, and for filling cracks, screw and nail holes in walls and ceilings made of wood, mortar, plaster, brick, concrete, etc.
The time-saving painter's caulk with Bostik UCA® technology is developed in collaboration with leading paint manufacturers and has unique properties that reduce the risk of shrinkage cracks when painting over narrow joints. Can also handle joint movement up to 10%.
SUBSTRATES
The surface must be firm, clean, dry, and free from dust and grease. Absorbent surfaces do not need to be completely dry. Porous surfaces such as plaster, aerated concrete, limestone, etc., must be primed with a mixture of 1 part BOSTIK A980 INSTANTLY PAINTABLE and 2 parts water. Always test adhesion before using the sealant.
Not suitable for continuous contact with water. Not suitable for substrates of PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene, and bitumen. Work instructions: See technical data sheet.

Paintable: Yes, with water-based and synthetic paints on narrow joints. We recommend testing that the sealant is compatible with the paint before use. Avoid direct overpainting of wide joints with a thickness of more than 5 mm.
