- Robust, embossed outer shell designed to conform easily to most face shapes and sizes.
- 3M™ Cool Flow™ Valve reduces heat build-up inside the respirator, making it cooler and more comfortable to wear.
- The adjustable nose clip helps form a seal and provides a contoured fit over the nose and cheeks.
- FFP2 (Filtering Face Piece – Class 2) provides protection against medium-level fine dusts and oil or water-based mists typically associated with power sanding, sanding, drilling, and cutting materials such as paint, varnish, cement, wood, and steel.
- The adjustable straps help hold the respirator securely in place for a good, comfortable seal and fit. They are colour-coded to indicate the performance level – blue: FFP2 to EN 149:2001+A1:2010.
- Complies with European standards – CE Mark 0086 (EN 149:2001+A1:2009 FFP2 NR D).
- This product helps protect against certain particulate matter in concentrations up to 10 × Occupational Exposure Limit (OEL).

Use 3M™ Particulate Respirator for Hand Sanding and Power Tools 8822 for respiratory protection when drilling, sawing, and sanding by hand or with an orbital sander. The valved respirator is designed to provide FFP2 protection against medium-level fine dust and oil or water-based vapours often encountered when working with common building materials.
It features a durable inner shell that maintains its convex shape, while the lightweight, dual-strap design is complemented by a nose clip and soft nose foam to provide a comfortable, secure fit across a range of face sizes. The 3M™ Cool Flow™ Valve reduces heat build-up inside the respirator by allowing exhaled air to escape.
