The perfect protection for hard-wearing wood surfaces. Worktops have to withstand a lot of impact all day long. Heat, cold, food scraps, various liquids, and even sharp knives. To withstand all these stresses, your worktop needs ideal protection: SAICOS Worktop Oil. It is based on natural ingredients and creates a very durable and natural wood surface. The wood is protected and maintained at the same time. SAICOS Worktop Oil dries within a few hours. It is the perfect product for sustainable protection due to its water and dirt-repellent properties. No sanding is required for renovation. Simply clean the surface and apply SAICOS Worktop Oil. Worktops made of exotic wood or heat-treated wood types require a first coat of SAICOS Ground Oil Extra Thin - 3001. Instructions: SAICOS Worktop Oil is ready to use. Just shake and stir. NOTE! Do not thin the product. Instructions: 1. Apply the first layer evenly and thinly using either a SAICOS Brush, SAICOS oil/wax roller, or a lint-free cloth. Tip: Do not pour SAICOS Worktop Oil onto the surface, but use a paint tray. 2. Drying time: 4-5 hours depending on humidity and temperature. Best working temperature is between 8°C and 35°C. Oxidative drying - ensure good ventilation (open windows) during and after application. 3. Intermediate sanding with Scotchpad P280. 4. Second coat - see no. 1. 5. Remove excess after 5 minutes with a clean, lint-free cloth. 6. Drying time: approx. 4-5 hours, see no. 2. 7. Apply 3rd coat just like the 2nd coat. Maintenance: Ecoline Wash Care Concentrate: for periodic cleaning. Ecoline Wax Care: for refreshing care as needed. A thin layer of SAICOS Worktop Oil should be applied once a year or as needed to ensure ideal durability.
