Area of use
Hagmans Thick Film Varnish EP is primarily intended for coating color-sand floors. Also suitable as a topcoat for flake floors created with Hagmans Floor Paint EP-V. This layer provides a dense, chemical-resistant surface with high wear resistance.

Pre-treatment
Concrete floors: The floor must be at least 28 days old, clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, grease, oil, and loose concrete. Grind or blast the surface to open the pores. Vacuum thoroughly. Prime with Hagmans Epoxy Primer according to instructions. Wood floors: Sand the floor clean and level. Vacuum and wipe off. Check that the floor is dry (max 10% wood moisture). All surfaces must be completely dry and free of contaminants before application.
Application
Mix components A and B according to the manufacturer's instructions in the exact proportion. Stir thoroughly for at least 3 minutes. Let the mixture stand for a few minutes before application. Apply Thick Film Varnish EP with a roller or brush in even strokes. Work systematically across the surface and avoid stopping. Apply 2 coats with 12-24 hours between them. Lightly sand between coats for best adhesion. Ventilate well during application and curing. The floor can be walked on after 24 hours, but full curing takes 7 days. Avoid heavy loads during the curing period. Clean tools with a suitable solvent immediately after use.
