Product description
Hagmans Clear Varnish 1K is an easy-to-use, durable, scratch-resistant, and non-yellowing 1-component clear varnish based on pure polyurethane. The product is primarily intended for coating over Hagmans Floor Paint 1K, with or without flakes, to improve wear and scratch resistance. It provides a very hard and easy-to-clean surface. The varnish is also highly suitable for wood or parquet surfaces. NOTE! For wood surfaces, indoors only.
Pre-treatment
The surface must be clean, dry, and firm. Previously painted or varnished surfaces should be sanded to a matte finish.
Application
Stir the varnish thoroughly before use. Apply the varnish in 1-2 coats using a brush or a felt roller. Absorbent surfaces may require a third coat. When varnishing previously untreated wood floors, remember to carefully sand down the raised wood fibers after the first coat and wipe away all sanding dust to achieve a perfectly smooth surface. Furniture can be moved back in after 24 hours. For heavier furniture and rugs, however, it is an advantage to wait about a week, as the varnish only achieves maximum hardness after this time.
