Gjøco Våtrom 05 is a moisture-resistant wall and ceiling paint for indoor use in wet rooms such as bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchens, and garages. It provides a washable and durable surface that does not yellow. Used on walls of, for example, paintable wallpaper, building boards, MDF, fiberglass fabric, fabric, wallpaper, plaster, masonry, concrete, and sand filler. Can also be used on panels. Must not be used directly in the shower area.

Product description
Pre-treatment
The surface must be clean and dry. Clean with Gjøco Interior Wash or Gjøco
Floor and Panel Cleaner. Follow the instructions on the packaging.
Previously oil-painted surfaces, MDF, hard and glossy surfaces should be sanded with sandpaper and
primed with Gjøco Sealing Primer. It is recommended to perform a test coat
if there is any uncertainty about whether the surface can be painted over.
Application
Apply evenly and generously. On absorbent and porous surfaces, three
coats are recommended to avoid spots. It is a good idea to use a roller with an extension pole as
it is easier to avoid spots. To obtain an even result, it is recommended to roll
full lengths in the same direction over the entire wall.
Note
Use the same production number for the same coat and surface, to
avoid gloss and color differences. If necessary, different production numbers can be
mixed before use. Shade differences can occur in cases where the bucket is tinted on
different tinting machines and/or at different times. Be aware of this if
more paint is needed for the same project later on.
Storage
When storing leftover paint, put the lid on tightly to prevent spills and
drying out. The paint should be transported, stored, and kept upright, in a dry place
and frost-free.
Eco-labeling
Gjøco Våtrom 05 is approved by the Nordic Eco-label and meets the requirements for
the Swan eco-label.
The product has been tested in accordance with the test requirements from BREEAM-NOR (2016).
The product fulfills BREEAM-NOR HEA 02.
Gjøco Alle Rom does not contain any substances on the A20 list.
Waste management
Liquid paint and wash water must not be emptied into the drain or the environment, but must
be taken to an approved collection point for hazardous waste. Empty, clean, and dry
plastic packaging without handles can be delivered as plastic waste.
Other information
Application temperature in the air and on the surface must be at least + 10 °C. Painted
surfaces must cure for at least four weeks before cleaning with a mild detergent.
Light spots on dark surfaces are removed with a microfiber cloth and clean water. Stir
well before use.
