Usage
We recommend using charcoal or briquettes, and a maximum of approx. 1kg of fuel should be added to the grill. Light the grill using, for example, firelighters or lighter fluid, and wait to grill until the charcoal or briquettes are glowing white. We recommend that you use a chimney starter.
Cleaning
The grill grate can be cleaned with a grill brush before it has cooled down completely. If there are a lot of burnt-on food residues, the grate can be soaked in water with dish soap and then scrubbed with a scouring pad or similar. Rinse the grate with water and grease it with cooking oil before using it again.
The grill must be placed on a level and stable surface before it is lit. The surface must be non-flammable, e.g., outdoor tiles, paving, or compacted soil.
Special safety instructions
There must be no combustible material such as grass, plants, or waste under or near the grill. The grill must be lit and stand with glowing white coals for at least half an hour before grilling food on it for the first time.
Use different grill utensils for raw and cooked meat and keep them separate; otherwise, bacteria can be transferred to the cooked meat and cause food poisoning.
