Pre-treatment
Surfaces to be treated must be thoroughly cleaned of dirt, grease, oil, rust, and similar substances. Bare metal surfaces should be treated with Hagmans Rust Protection Primer 1K spray. Other surfaces should be matted down and cleaned with silicone remover. Cover adjacent surfaces before application.
Application
Shake the can for 2 minutes after the mixing balls start rattling. Hold the spray can upright at a distance of 25–40 cm and move it at a steady speed from side to side. Spray in relatively thin layers in 2–3 passes, allowing 30–45 seconds of drying time between each pass to avoid runs. Remove any splashes immediately with mineral spirits. After finishing spraying, turn the can upside down and press the nozzle until only propellant comes out.
