Field of Application
Permanently elastic sealant made of special black butyl rubber for water- and airtight joints and penetrations, etc. For exterior or interior use. Weather-resistant (UV and water). Ideal for connection and sealing against wood, brick, stone, metal, PA polymer, PE foil (e.g., vapor barrier, moisture barrier, radon membrane), PP membrane (e.g., windbreak, roof membrane, vapor retarder), PU polymer (e.g., expansion tape), bitumen (e.g., roofing felt), glass, plasterboard, kraft paper, etc.
Clean in a fresh state with gasoline or mineral spirits.

Installation
Preparation and application: The substrate and bonding surfaces must be stable, dry, and clean (free from dust, oil, grease, silicone, or similar). For difficult substrates or porous surfaces, use a primer. Always test apply on questionable materials and substrates! Membrane/foil bonding: Apply the sealant in even beads with a diameter of approx. 6-8 mm onto the substrate. Press or roll on the foil/membrane with a light touch (do not apply hard pressure). For any movement in the membrane, allow for some extra material in a fold before the joint. For extra strength in the joint against a fixed structural part, a clamping strip can be mechanically attached over it.
Filling/Jointing:
Fill joints that are only to be sealed (at least 6 mm deep) completely. Avoid air pockets!
Storage:
Can be stored in unopened original packaging for 12 months if kept cool and dry.
