Marine Epoxy is a 2-component epoxy filler for marine use. It works in all environments that require a durable filler capable of withstanding aggressive conditions and moisture.

Field of application:
Used for bonding, filling, and repairs, including below the waterline on boats, jet skis, surfboards, water skis, etc. Works excellently on fiberglass, wood, steel, sheet metal, aluminum, etc. Can be applied in thicker layers without risk of shrinkage or cracking. Also suitable for vehicle applications.
Pre-treatment:
The surface must be dry and clean. When filling on previously painted surfaces, the surface must be sanded matte. Remove any loose paint.
Mixing:
Mix 1 volume part of component A with 1 volume part of component B until a homogeneous gray mixture is obtained.
Application:
Apply with a steel or rubber spreader. Pot life at +20°C is 20 minutes. The filler can be smoothed with a moistened tool for up to 2 hours. Sandable after approx. 24 hours at +20°C. NOTE! The minimum temperature for optimal curing is +5°C. Clean tools with Hagmans Cellulose Thinner.

Which surfaces is Marine Epoxy suitable for?
The product is suitable for boats, jet skis, surfboards, and water skis – even below the waterline. Works excellently on fiberglass, wood, steel, sheet metal, aluminum, concrete, stone, and ceramics. Can also be used on vehicles.
How long does the repair last?
The shelf life for unopened product is 2 years. A correctly performed repair reaches full strength after 5–7 days and is very durable with a hardness of approx. 70 Shore D.
What does 2-component epoxy mean?
You mix equal parts Comp. A (black) and Comp. B (white) until a homogeneous gray mixture is obtained. The pot life is 20 minutes at +20°C – only mix as much as you can use within that time.
How quickly does the product cure?
At +20°C, the surface can be exposed to light traffic after approx. 12 hours. Full strength is reached after 5–7 days. The filler can be smoothed with a moistened tool for up to 2 hours after application.
In what temperature can I apply the product?
The minimum application temperature is +5°C. Best results are obtained at +20°C. Lower temperatures extend pot life and curing time.
Do I need to pre-treat the surface?
Yes – the substrate must be dry and clean. On previously painted surfaces, sand the surface matte and remove loose paint for best adhesion.
Is the product environmentally friendly?

Can I paint over the filler?
Yes – overpaintable with epoxy products after just 3 hours at +20°C.

Application
Mix equal parts Comp. A and Comp. B until a homogeneous gray color is obtained. Pot life is 20 minutes at +20°C. Apply with a steel or rubber spreader – can be applied in thick layers without shrinkage. Smooth with a moistened tool within 2 hours if necessary. Let cure for at least 12 hours before light load. Overpaint with epoxy products after 3 hours. Clean tools with Hagmans Cellulose Thinner or thinner.
