Tray with a winding leaf pattern in a classic design created by William Morris (1834-96). The pattern was originally created for a wallpaper in 1872. A large number of Morris's patterns can be found at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London - the world's leading museum of art and design. Made in Sweden. Dishwasher safe. William Morris was an English designer and writer, known as a leading figure in the Arts and Crafts movement during the 19th century. He was an influential supporter of the South Kensington Museum, now the V&A, and his company, Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co, was responsible for the decoration of the museum. Morris's design is characterized by a love for wildflowers, plants, and birds. The material is FSC®-certified birch veneer with a protective melamine surface, making the product very durable. Made in Sweden. Dishwasher safe.
