-The wall must be firm and clean, with no loose wallpaper scraps or filler dust.
-If you have not removed all old layers of wallpaper, which is recommended, it is a good idea to prime the wall with an insulating/blocking paint. You do this to reduce the risk of the old wallpaper bubbling. Suitable paint is Sigma Isotop Primer or Jotun’s wallpaper primer. Once painted, sand lightly and wash down with sugar soap.
