Cleaning of joints in window frames
Step 1: Combating mold in joints and on windowsills
- 1. If there is extensive growth, start by vacuuming the surface with a machine equipped with a HEPA filter.
- 2. Spray Protox Hysan carefully onto the joint and scrub with a nylon brush until all mold is loosened. Be careful not to brush the joint too hard to avoid damage.
- 3. Wipe away mold residue with a damp cloth.
- 4. Let the surface dry completely.
Step 2: Removing deep discoloration with Protox FogRen
- 1. Cover delicate surfaces or areas where Protox FogRen should not be applied.
- 2. Fill the joint pen with Protox FogRen.
- 3. Apply the gel carefully with the joint pen and leave it to work overnight.
- 4. Rinse with lukewarm water or wipe off with a damp cloth. Clean the joint pen with clean water after use.
In case of extensive discoloration, repeat the treatment.
