QUICK Bengalack Effect Spray provides a brilliant metallic effect.
QUICK Bengalack Effect Spray silver, gold, and copper are opaque paints. Transparent silver is used as a topcoat on non-metallic colors.

Field of application
QUICK Bengalack Effect Spray is used indoors and outdoors on metal, wood, and hard plastic. Used on items such as bicycles, interior fittings, ornaments such as vases, candlesticks, etc.
Drying times
The drying time is affected by changes in temperature, humidity, and film thickness. The specified drying time is measured under the following conditions:
Humidity (RH)
Air temperature 50 % 23 °C
Surface temperature 23 °C
Dry to handle / careful use Min. 1 hour.
Recoatable after Approx. 5 minutes
High stress / fully cured 3–4 weeks
Conditions during application: Do not spray if there is a risk of rain or dew before the paint film is dry
Instructions for use
New iron and steel:
Degrease with QUICK Bengalack Degreasing Spray or UNIVERSAL THINNER NO. 1. Wash with JOTUN 3-in-1 Power Clean and Mold Disinfectant diluted 1:10. Rinse with water. The surface must be completely dry before further treatment. Then prime the surface with QUICK Bengalack Anti-Rust Primer.
Topcoat: QUICK Bengalack Effect Spray.
Previously painted iron and steel:
Remove all rust, loose paint, grease, and other contaminants. Sand down existing paint. Wash with JOTUN 3-in-1 Power Clean and Mold Disinfectant diluted 1:10. Rinse with water. The surface must be completely dry before further treatment. Then prime the surface with QUICK Bengalack Anti-Rust Primer. Topcoat: QUICK Bengalack Effect Spray.
Galvanized steel and light metal:
Degrease with QUICK Bengalack Degreasing Spray or UNIVERSAL THINNER NO. 1. Wash with JOTUN 3-in-1 Power Clean and Mold Disinfectant diluted 1:5 with water.
RINSE THOROUGHLY with clean water! The surface must be completely dry before further treatment. Then prime the surface with QUICK Bengalack Anti-Rust Primer. Topcoat: QUICK Bengalack Effect Spray.
Hard plastic:
The surface must be free from grease and other contaminants. Wash with JOTUN 3-in-1 Power Clean and Mold Disinfectant. Rinse with water. The surface must be completely dry before further treatment. Then prime the surface with QUICK Bengalack Anti-Rust Primer. Topcoat: QUICK Bengalack Effect Spray. Surface Treatment The surface must be clean, firm, and dry.
