Two-component water-borne epoxy paint. For painting concrete, fiberboard, etc. The paint is permeable to humidity and therefore also suitable for ground-level floors. If moisture permeability is required, a maximum of 2 coats is recommended.
Product Description
Hagmans Floor Paint EP-V Rapid is primarily intended for concrete floors but can
also be used on floors made of wood or fiberboard. Suitable for residential floors and
floors subjected to light traffic in industry and commerce. Since the paint has good
diffusion properties, it is suitable for painting ground-level floors.
Application Instructions
Pre-treatment
New concrete floors must have cured for at least 1 week, be dry and free from dirt,
oil, and the like. The cement laitance must be removed by, e.g., diamond grinding, blasting,
or acid etching. When painting over existing paint, the surface must be sanded matte and all
loose paint removed.
Application
With a brush or roller. Should be applied in two coats. Ensure good ventilation so that
the water evaporates before the paint cures. At humidity levels above 85%, a dull and
streaky surface may occur. Small amounts, up to approx. 1 kg, can be mixed by hand with a
rectangular stirring stick. Larger amounts should be mixed with an electric or
pneumatic mechanical mixer, e.g., a low-speed drill with a suitable
mixing paddle. A splash guard is recommended.
Instructions for Use
Mixing ratio: Comp. A 1 part by weight, Comp. B 1 part by weight. Dilution: Approx. 10-
20% water when priming on absorbent surfaces.

After Painting
Sometimes certain rubber compounds in tires can cause plasticizer migration on
water-borne paint or varnish. On lighter colors, this can be perceived as yellowish
imprints.

Brushes, rollers, and other equipment are cleaned in water. Use protective gloves!
