Erika Höglund, born in 1971 in Boda, Småland, grew up in an artistic family where the art of glass has been a central theme. Even as a child, she was fascinated by the glassblowers' artistry with the glowing molten glass. With this legacy and her own imagination, Erika seeks new ways to express her creativity.
For Målerås, she creates contemporary crystal objects in the form of sculptures, bowls, vases, platters, and much more.
