Designer
Mats Jonasson’s talent for drawing was recognized early on, and he began working as an apprentice engraver at the glassworks in 1959. Over the following decades, he worked with several of the great glass artists of his time. Simultaneously, he developed the nature-inspired style that he has since refined to perfection.
"Our forests have influenced the soul of the people since time immemorial," says Mats Jonasson. Inspired by this nature, he has created his distinctive crystal objects with an open mind. Today, the son of the glassworks is represented all over the world.
