Description
Gjöco Sealer is a transparent, acrylic-based matte treatment for sealing matte and/or pigmented surfaces to improve durability, color transfer resistance, and water resistance. Gjöco Sealer is suitable for use as a topcoat over Gjöco Kalkmaling/Kalkfärg (lime paint) on surfaces that may be exposed to water splashes and wear. It can also be used on other surfaces where there are issues with color chalking/rub-off and to increase water resistance. It is not intended for use on floors.

APPLICATION DATA
Pre-treatment
The substrate must be firm, clean, and dry. It is advisable to perform a test application to ensure the result is as expected. Gjöco Sealer can provide a deeper color effect, and multiple coats may result in a higher sheen.
Application
Apply one coat of Gjöco Sealer. Apply evenly and thinly using a suitable roller or brush. Gjöco Kalkmaling/Kalkfärg must cure for 24 hours before applying Gjöco Sealer.
Storage
When storing leftover paint, replace the lid securely to prevent spills and drying out. The paint should be transported, stored, and kept upright, in a dry, frost-free location.
Waste management
Liquid paint must not be poured into drains or the environment, but taken to an approved collection point for hazardous waste.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Mix different production batches before use to avoid differences in gloss. Stir well before use. Gjöco Sealer may yellow when used over alkyd-based paints. Perform a test application. The paint is milky white in the container but turns transparent after drying.

Minimum application temp: +10°C. Best results are achieved when applied at room temperature.
