Falu Rödfärg Knut&Foder and Falu Rödfärg Träfasad are developed for use on wood, both planed and unplaned. The paint adheres to most types of previously painted surfaces, even surfaces previously painted with distemper paint.
However, you should avoid painting on surfaces that have previously been painted with so-called acrylate paint. Acrylate is "thermoplastic," which means it moves at different temperatures and thus gives rise to cracks and peeling.
