Beckers is one of Sweden's oldest and most well-known paint brands, with 150 years of history in innovation and quality. From Sweden’s first specialty shop for paint and varnish in 1865 to today’s environmentally leading paint manufacturer - Beckers has always been at the forefront.

Swedish paint history:

Founded by the German chemist Carl Wilhelm Becker in 1865 on Malmtorgsgatan in Stockholm. Over the years, Beckers has been the professional painter’s first choice and has developed pioneering products such as the latex paint Spred (1951). The company has painted everything from Carl and Carin Larsson’s Sundborn to the dome roof of St. Basil’s Cathedral on Red Square in Moscow.
