Coasters with a winding leaf pattern in a classic design created by William Morris (1834-96). The pattern was originally created for a wallpaper in 1872. A large number of Morris's patterns can be found at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London - the world's leading museum of art and design. Made in Sweden. Dishwasher safe. William Morris was an English designer and writer known as a leading figure in the Arts and Crafts movement during the 19th century. He was an influential supporter of the South Kensington Museum, now the V&A, and his company, Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co, was responsible for the museum's decoration. Morris's designs are characterized by a love for wildflowers, plants, and birds. The material is FSC®-certified eucalyptus board with a printed paper on top treated with a protective surface, making the product highly durable. The back features a velvety flocked paper that ensures the coaster stays firmly in place. Made in Sweden. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
