Description
Water-based 1-component varnish for furniture, worktops, doors, skirting boards, thresholds, casings, and other wooden interior items in a home environment. Osmo Furniture Varnish is used on untreated wood or as a final coat for furniture surfaces stained with Osmo Oil Stain.

Clear, water-based varnish that functions as both a base coat and a top coat. Osmo Furniture Varnish is a new product that provides a durable, wipeable protection and a smooth, pleasant surface, while preserving the grain and feel of the wood.
For all wood species in a home environment
Osmo Furniture Varnish is used for furniture, worktops, doors, skirting boards, thresholds, casings, and other wooden interior items in a home environment (not floors). It is suitable for all European wood species such as spruce, pine, beech, oak, and birch. When using on unknown, oily, resinous, or exotic wood species, perform a test before treating the entire surface.
Provides a durable surface
The varnish is dirt and water-repellent, and resistant to spills. Osmo Furniture Varnish is free from harmful solvents, odorless, and approved for toys according to EN 71.3.
Final treatment for stained surfaces
Osmo Furniture Varnish can also be used as a final treatment for furniture and other wooden surfaces (not floors) stained with Osmo Oil Stain in a home environment. We recommend matte varnish for light stains, and satin-matte varnish for dark stains.
Easy application
Osmo Furniture Varnish is ready to use and easy to apply with an Osmo Brush or a roller for varnish application. Drying time is approximately 6–8 hours between coats; the varnish is fully cured after about a week.
