A range of different colors
Osmo Pigmented Hardwax Oil is designed to provide a range of options for staining interior wood surfaces. Just like the unpigmented hardwax oil, it provides a beautiful surface that preserves the wood's character, but also adds pigment. The surface becomes water and dirt repellent, wear-resistant, and resistant to spills.
Wear surfaces with unpigmented or white hardwax oil
Wear surfaces stained with Osmo Pigmented Hardwax Oil must be finished with a final coat of clear Osmo Hardwax Oil Original or Rapid to protect the pigment. Alternatively, white surfaces can be finished with Osmo 3040 or 3041 Natur; be sure to maintain the surface with 3087 White Maintenance Wax. Staining of dark exotic wood species such as Wenge, Merbau, Jatoba, etc., is not recommended. Use Osmo 1101 instead.
It is easy to apply pigment
No special skills are required to stain wood surfaces with Osmo Pigmented Hardwax Oil. The product is applied thinly in the direction of the grain using a brush, microfiber roller, or lint-free cloth - depending on the type of surface being treated and the desired intensity of the stain. Avoid working in direct sunlight.
All products in the series are satin-matte, except 3041 and 3044, which are matte. For more intense staining, Osmo Wood Wax Finish in transparent or intense colors is recommended.
