Oil-based UV protection for outdoor use. Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra is available in clear and several beautiful colours, is used on vertical wood outdoors and gives the treated surface a UV protection factor of 12.
Suitable for all vertical wood outdoors
For doors, windows, wall panelling, carports, screens and fences, pergolas and other vertical wood outdoors. Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra Pigmented is used for colouring and UV protection on vertical surfaces. Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra 420 Clear is used as a clear base coat or top coat on vertical exterior wood elements coloured with Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra Pigmented or Osmo Wood Stain and Protector.
UV protection factor 12
If Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra Pigmented and UV-Protection-Oil Extra clear satin or matt (new) are used as the sole surface treatment on vertical wood, the surface receives a UV protection factor of 12 compared to untreated wood. The products are based on natural vegetable oils, are microporous, and do not crack or flake. They contain active ingredients to protect the coating against mould, algae and fungal attack.
