Äkta bets is a powdered dye that you dissolve in boiling water. The stain contains no binder and is therefore pure and clear. Its high transparency ensures that Äkta bets truly highlights the grain and texture of the surface. It also provides the depth of color that many associate with stained wood. Binders are otherwise what bond the color to the treated surface.
Because Äkta bets lacks a binder, the material must be finished with Herdins Betslack (stain varnish). Otherwise, the surface will rub off, even after the stain has dried. Of our four stains, only Äkta bets contains no binder. This makes Äkta bets the choice for those aiming for the highest quality in the final result, the deepest color, the finest grain, and the most beautiful texture. The stain is available in 24 different colors that can be mixed with each other. Color intensity can be increased or decreased as desired by adjusting the amount of dye applied and/or the amount of water the stain is dissolved in. This gives you great possibilities to find the exact shade you are looking for.
