-If you have not removed all old layers of wallpaper, which is recommended, it is a good idea to prime the wall by painting with insulating/blocking paint. This is done to reduce the risk of the old wallpaper bubbling under the new wallpaper. Suitable paint is Sigma Isotop Primer or Jotun’s primer for wallpaper. Once painted, sand lightly and wash down with sugar soap.
