Newly poured floors must cure for at least 2 months before painting. Cement laitance on concrete must be removed before further treatment, either by machine sanding or acid etching. In rooms with floor drains, acid etching can be used. Use a 10% hydrochloric acid solution and rinse thoroughly with water. The surface must be firm. Previously painted surfaces should be washed with Gjøco Kraftvask \/ Husvask or another suitable detergent. Follow the instructions on the packaging.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSubstrates with membrane curing agents can cause poor adhesion. Therefore, check adhesion or remove the curing agent before further processing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eApplication\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eUse the same batch number on the same layer to avoid differences in gloss and color. Gjøco Poxydekk should be stored at room temperature for one day before use for better application properties. Parts 1 and 2 are mixed well with mechanical stirring. The first coat can be thinned with up to 10% water and used as a primer. Ensure good ventilation during application and during the drying time.
