Remove grease, wax, and soap residues with Gjøco Interior Cleaner. This must also be done on new, untreated wood. Lightly sand the surface with 150–180 grit sandpaper. Vacuum and then wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth. Apply Gjøco Furniture and Kitchen Worktop Oil with a brush or sponge in the direction of the grain. The type of application tool used can result in different finishes; perform a test application. Allow to dry for approx. 2 hours. Then apply a new coat and let it dry for one day before the item is put into use.
