The assembly adhesive is used to bond waterproofing foil, waterproofing strips, pipe collars, and inner and outer corners. The substrate must meet the requirements of current BBV industry standards and be free from dust and contaminants.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMixing: \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePour 4 liters of water into a clean bucket and mix in all the powder from the bag (10 kg) using a mixing paddle (by volume: 1.9 liters of powder to 1 liter of water). Mix for 2 minutes until a lump-free mass is achieved. The mixture must be used within 3 hours.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAbsorbent substrates must be primed with Bostik Primer 6000 (for wall boards, dilute the primer with 10% water; for concrete floors and self-leveling compounds, dilute the primer with 3 parts water to 1 part primer).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce the primer has dried, apply a generous layer of the assembly adhesive using a roller (0.6 kg\/m2).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe waterproofing foil is installed into the wet assembly adhesive, and any excess is pressed out (from the center towards the sides) using a plastic spreader.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDo not roll adhesive onto larger areas than you can cover with foil within 10 minutes (normally one sheet at a time).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFoil overlaps, waterproofing strips, pipe collars, and corners are installed using the same assembly adhesive. All seals and edges\/joints are sealed with the assembly adhesive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMeasure and cut the foil sheets in advance and install one sheet at a time.
